Eucalyptus Branches

Is there anything I need to do to my branches to make them very fragrant like what is in stores? When clipping them the odor was mild.

The scent is linked to the specific variety and the amount of water in the plant. Drying the branches will help to concentrate the oil (which carries the scent) and make it smell more aromatic. You can also try cutting back some on the amount of water the tree gets.
