Dying Snail Vines In Arizona Heat

My snail vines are dying in the Arizona Heat. How often should I water them and do I feed them fertilizer?

Watering should be done when the soil dries, completely, down to about 2 or 3 inches or so, instead of on a schedule. They can be fertilized once or twice per year, but this is not necessary.
