Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello – I am looking for some evergreen trees to plant in a wooded area. I need an evergreen to have some year around privacy. The area is very shady and there is no irrigation system. The soil is very hard and full of rocks/stones I am in zone 6 (Philadelphia). I therefore need a drought tolerant evergreen that can grow in the shade. I was wondering if you could recommend a specific tree for my need. Thank you very much

Although you are limited on evergreens for your area in those conditions, there are some options. This article will get you started with both evergreen and deciduous plants for that area: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/gardening-by-zone/zone-6/zone-6-shade-loving-plants.htm [1]
