Dropping sunflowers

We water daily but our sunflowers are dropping. There doesn’t seem to be an infestation. I just wonder with the Texas heat if it is still not enough water. These were planted the first week of June and are close to 8-9’ tall.

This appears to be bacterial spot! This has no known cure, but there are prevention and control methods. This mainly comprises of removing infected material completely from the area. The heat is probably keeping it from spreading faster, so the quicker you can get hold of this the faster it will go away out of the soil.

Sunflowers with large seed heads are often droopy. This is normal when it occurs after peak flowering. The seeds, added to the weight of the large head is too much for the plant to keep it upright. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/sunflower/fixing-drooping-sunflowers.htm [2]
