Does A Russian Vine Continue To Draw Water After Chopped Down At Root?

Hi weve chopped down a very large Russian vine that was climbing all over our newly bought home but we have a constant wet bubbling liquid from the roots that are cut flush to concrete, is this from the plant or could we have disturbed underground pipework? Really doont think there are pipes but we cut this down 3/4 weeks ago. It is producing new leaf shoots at the chopped root base. Thanks

There's no way for us to tell if you've disturbed your pipes, but you should know that this plant is tough to kill. You may need to use chemicals to get rid of it.
