When I harvest seeds do I need to dry them before planting?

I wish I knew what type of seeds you are asking about. In general, seeds must be dried before planting will trigger germination. Some seeds must go through a dormant period, some in 40 F temps and some require 3 months of cold moist stratification. So you see it varies by plant. If you do an online search for “growing X from seed” you should find the information you need.
