Do need have to pollinate blooms to produce fruit?

I am growing tomatoes in containers in a screened in lanai. The plants are beautiful, healthy, and strong. They have been blooming but nothing is happening as far as fruit. Should I put them outside the screened area so that bees can pollinate the blooms?

Tomatoes are wind pollinated. You can put a fan in the room, or you can just wiggle the flower clusters. That is all it takes. If they are not fruiting, I would look to another issue. They need plenty of water to hold the blooms. If it is too dry, or not humid enough, they will not set fruit.
