Spraying Sago Plants

Do I need to spray with soap and water, and apply systemic on regular basis? Had white stuff on it, cut fronds and sprayed with Dawn and water. Applied systemic, came back great but now it is time to apply systemic. Do I need to spray with Dawn and water or will systemic do the job of keeping my sago healthy?

I would continue with any treatments that you have, because if you give the scale an opening, it will come rushing in. Keep in touch with you county extension service for updates on newest treatments. This link will help you find the nearest office:
