Distinguishing Dahlia Varieties

I planted two different kinds of dahlias in pots planning to plant them out in June. I got distracted during potting and now I’m not sure which set is which. Is there a way to tell by the foliage or tuber size? One set is Ryan, the other is Sakura Orange.

You will probably have to wait until they flower. It is best to label to remember which plant is which.
