Do I cut the peonies down to the ground in the fall?

Pruning peonies back to the the ground in late fall is a good idea, just to make it harder of diseases to get a foothold. A good layer of mulch (4″) also helps. This article should give you some other peony tips. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/peony/peony-care.htm [1]
