Croton

When you water the plants and the water runs out of the bottom in the saucer, do you let the plant sit in the water? Especially, croton.

It is best not to let plants sit in the water that runs out the bottom. The water should be promptly emptied out of the saucer under the pot, or you should water in the sink so that this is not necesary. If the plant sits in the water, the soil may stay too wet, or salts can build up in the soil and eventually damage the plant.
