Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy crepe myrtle tree has not bloomed yet. It is usually a late bloomer, but I think this may be too late. I am trying to deal with aphids on the tree – could that be why it is not in bloom? Thank you.

For the aphids, you can treat the tree with neem oil (often sold as fruit tree spray in the stores – check the labels). And yes, they could cause enough stress on the tree to inhibit blooming.
