Crepe Myrtle Losing Leaves

My large-leaf white crepe myrtles are about 5 years old and are about 10 feet tall. This year after they started blooming, they started losing leaves. . . but only on one side – same side of both trees. They begin by dying and curling at the ends. The other side of both trees so far is doing OK. Can you possibly tell me what is going on?

More likely, it is suffering from either a pest or fungus. Treat the tree with both a pesticide and fungicide to take care of both problems. Neem oil is good for this as it is both a pesticide and a fungicide.
