Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe planted a beautiful purple crepe myrtle tree and watered carefully to establish during a drought here in Texas. It did fine during the transplant and has been in the ground about 2 months.
The tree is heavy with blooms that take forever to open and since the rain, we noticed more yellow leaves and some turning deep maroon. Is this something to be concerned about?

It is possible, but it may also be caused by a lack of nutrients. Are you fertilizing regularly? The regular watering may have leached the nutrients away. Try fertilizing before cutting back water.
