Covering Plants

It’s been raining here all day and expecting frost tonight. Can we still cover the new plants with sheets even though they are wet? Worried about the sheets sticking and freezing leaves on plants. They are fairly new Scheffleras.

You can still cover them. Give the plants a good shake to get as much water as possible off before covering. If it is also still raining, add a plastic sheet over the cloth sheets.
