Corkscrew Rush Plant Turning Yellow

My Corkscrew Rush plant was outside in a pot all summer and was doing great. It got colder out, so I brought it in for winter and repotted it into different pot with moist soil and put it where it can get medium sunlight. Very quickly it started turning yellow. I have no idea what the problem is. I cut off most of the yellow, so there is only a bit on it, but it will continue to turn yellow. Any ideas? Thanks. Not working to post a photo of it.

Unfortunately, without a photo it can be hard to say. What I DO believe is going on is that the change in environment, lack of light, little less favorable conditions from uncolonized soil, and overall indoor conditions will be the reason for yellowing.

Unfortunately, without greenhouse conditions and lighting- This will be what you experience through the winter, indoors. The change will be too great for the plant's comfort.

Now the good news! This plant can survive the cold in your area. You are zone 5, and it will survive down to zone 4. This article will explain what the plant needs in order to be happy:
