Concerns About Purple African Violet

I am concerned about the strange color of the strange yellowish color . I am careful to not get water on the leaves and they are in an east window but a sheer curtain hangs in front of them . Appreciate advice

This seems to be a lack of light. I would try and increase this amount, and put this into a southeastern window, if possible. This article will help:
