Companion plants for Oriental Lilies

Do you recommend planting ranunculus in the same pot as Oriental Lilies? I was hoping to find a plant to cover up the empty spot when the leaves of the Oriental Lilies die back.

I cannot find that on any list of companion plants with lilies, however, that is not to say that it wouldn’t work. Here is an article on plants that will, for sure, work with Lilies: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/lily/companions-for-lilies.htm ^[1]
