Common Weeds

What are the weeds in the yard that look like fuzzy balls. The kids pick them and blow them. How do you get rid of them?

More information would make this easier to say for sure, though it sounds more like dandelions. However, there are several weeds that spread seeds in this fashion and we want to make sure we give you the right advice for dealing with the weeds in your yard.
