Crotons will drop their leaves if they do not have enough light. In addition, these plants need a sufficient amount of light in order to bloom. On average you should give them at least 6-8 hours of bright, indirect light. Insufficient watering can also lead to leaf drop. Crotons should be kept evenly moist.
