Clear goo oozing from my peaches

My peach tree has about 50 peaches on it, about 1 to 1.5 inches in size, and several of them have clear goo oozing from them (see picture below). When i pull off the goo, the wound seems superficial. I sliced one of the peaches very finely but did not find any worms inside. I have several questions. What might this be and can I cure it? Are peaches with goo done for and should be immediately picked and tossed, or can I eat them if they otherwise look fine? Thanks much.

This is the work of Fruit Moths.
These links will help you understand this pest and how to help control them.

Thanks Downtoearthdigs. I thought OMF was the problem last year and so put phermone traps on in Feb of this year but never trapped any, so i thought i might be ok. I read the links you suggested but must admit that the whole concept of timing, etc seems overwhelming for someone with one peach tree. I’m not really sure what to do to protect the rest of my peaches. I did see one stink but the other day – could this be stink bugs?
