Clear Globules on Red Mexican Bird of Paradise

We have a new Red Bird of Paradise plant. Planted 2 weeks go. It now has clear watery looking globules on the stems just below the blooms. Do you know what they might be and how to eliminate them if they aren’t good for the plant?

There may be pests on the plant. They can make the leaves “drip.” The water is actually honeydew from these pests. Neem oil is an effective treatment.
