citrus fruit pest

I am farm manager with 10 hectares of orange, 10 ha. mango and 10 ha. different commercial vegetables. This is highlight of my farm but my question is about citrus red scale pest control. What is an effective chemical?

The best answer depends on your region. There are a few species of citrus red scale insects, and the availability of specific chemicals varies by region. Perhaps you could consult someone at your nearest university that has an agriculture or horticulture program, since they will know better about what pests are common in your area.

Some chemicals are available for red scale, but biological controls (beneficial insects and parasitic wasps that feed on scale insects) are believed to be more effective.
