citronella plants

I asked to see more information on my citronella plant and the article that pulled up said it really doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t really repel mosquitoes. If that’s true then why do you guys advertise that it’s one of the top two plants to get to repel mosquitoes? I’m not an upset customer I just really want to know if I should buy a second one or not for the purpose of repelling mosquito?

The leaves of a Citronella plant can be crushed and rubbed against your skin.
