Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted a Chinese dogwood tree about two weeks ago and have noticed that the leaves appear to be cupping/curling upward. They weren’t like that when I purchased it. Is this normal? What is causing this to happen? If this is not normal, what can I do to correct it? I don’t know my gardening zone, but I live in Cleveland, Ohio (if that helps). I’m sorry I don’t know much about gardening. This tree was planted for sentimental reasons and I appreciate you helping me in maintaining its healthy growth.

Since the tree is newly planted, I would suspect that it may be a little on the dry side. Newly planted trees require lots of water while they establish their roots.
