Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI recently bought Chicago hardy fig plant from nursery and it’s about 3 feet tall. I want to know – can I grow it indoor and can it still bear the rest of the fruits?
Or is it better to plant outside?
Also, which pesticide and fertilizer should I use for it?
Thank you
Jaya

It would be better to plant outside. If you are concerned about the weather dipping for prolonged periods you can plant it in a container and move it into the garage for the winter. They need 6 hours of sun a day, so a pot indoors would not be appropriate. We don’t recommend pesticide or fertilizer brands, but the articles below discuss how to grow fig trees.
