Cherie Hibiscus ~ Tropical or Hardy?

Just bought a Cherie Hibiscus to plant in my yard close to the house on the southeast side from a local nursery. We live in South Central Idaho. Hadn’t planned on digging it up for the winter. Will mulching be enough?

This tropical variety is not cold hardy. Rated for zone 10 and 11.

You will need to bring this plant indoors as soon as the weather cools this fall.

Here is a link to wintering over hibiscus.
