Caring For Butterfly Bush

Best way to care for this plant. So hot here. Bottom leaves dying. How deep to mulch. should I deadhead once flower is spent? How often should I fertilize?

You will be glad to hear that this plant requires, almost, zero care. It is important to understand the invasive nature of this shrub. I DO recommend deadheading before it goes to seed, every time.
