Care of outdoor Fuchsia plants

Do I remove the pod that forms after the flower dies & turns brown? The pod looks like a ripe red berry eventually,

Yes, you can pinch off the spent bloom and the seedpod forming beneath it. Otherwise, energy will be spent forming seeds instead of flowers.
