Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in N.E. Missouri. I just purchased a Eucalyptus cinerea. I would like to know if I should wait until spring to plant this tree or plant it now. Also, any relative info on the care and maintenance of my new tree.

Being in MO, I would recommend storing it in a sheltered location until spring, as it will get cold before the tree has a chance to establish. If you are storing it in a location that would not get water (like a garage), make sure the tree gets watered once a month or so until spring.

I will let you know that this tree does not survive over winter in zones 7 or lower. If your zone is 7 or lower, you will want to bring it indoors and keep it in a container so that it can be moved indoors in the winter.
