Canna flowers

Ideas headed my canna flowers but have little round pods growing up the stems. Should I pick them off. I have no flowers blooming.

These are the seed pods. You can remove them from the plant or, if you’re interested in trying your hand at seed propagating them, you can leave them to dry and turn brown prior to removing.
