Can You Plant Crocus Bulbs In May? I Know It Is Meant To Be In Autumn.

The village would like to plant a load of crocuses as part of the Coronation celebrations in May. Would they still manage to remain dormant before their vernalisation over winter?

This would not be a good idea. Planting in Autumn would be, highly, advised.
