Can ponytail palm in pot be put in full sun

Can ponytail palm in pot be put in full sun in NTH QLD Australia? I have just repotted my ponytail palm and I was wanting to put it outside in morning shade and full sun from lunch time into afternoon. Will this kill my plant?

Ponytail palms tolerate full sun to part shade so this would be okay.
