Can Little Bluestem be grown in containers?

To avoid the invasive nature of Little Bluestem I am wondering if it will do well in containers?

I’m sure it will. It doesn’t get as tall and wide as many ornamental grasses. But it does produce side shoots that can be removed and started as new plants. Also, to reduce invasiveness, cut off the seed heads before the seeds are released.
