storing tulip bulbs

Can I store tulip bulbs brought to me from Amsterdam in my refrigerator till time to plant? I live in Georgia, USA. When do I plant them and is chilling them completely necessary?

Yes, you will need to chill the tulip bulbs for a period for blooming tulips in your warm growing climate.
