Can A China Doll Be Grafted.

I have a china doll which is very top heavy. Can I remove about half of the trunk and graft it back together?

Unfortunately, this is not likely to take. Pruning of that severity would leave the top to die, and the bottom may be too stressed to continue. There are ways to get it to bush back out, however. It will require more light, and proper pruning. These articles will help you:
