camellia volunteer

Camellia purchased in pot 3 months ago, plants covered in buds, repotted in cam/soil. One bud progressed into full size beautiful flower, nearly all others remain as purchased. The very few that have advanced a little are showing brown edges on petals. Could you please tell me what I have done wrong?
