Camellia Leaves Turning Brown

My camellia bush is in a corner and about 4-5 months ago I noticed 1/2 of the leaf is brown. New leaves are coming out; however, after a few days those new leaves turn brown too. What’s funny is the leaf is only 1/2 brown, it does not turn completely brown. I was reading your blog and all I found to possibly be wrong is sunscald but, again, it is in a corner and only gets late in the day sun. Any suggestions would be appreciated, and if photos would help, I can certainly provide.

It sounds as though it may be a fungus. There are several it could be but, fortunately, they are all treated the same. Treat the plant with a fungicide. I personally like neem oil as it treats both fungus and any pests that may be hanging around on the plant. Here is more information on neem oil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm [1]
