Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comnow or leave it until fall. I had the bulb planted in a pot. It did bloom. There is 1 small shoot, about 2 inches sticking up from the bulb. I usually take all the bulbs in after frost, dry them, then cover them in peat moss indoors for winter.

I suggest treating it as you normally would and waiting till fall to bring it up. Any leaves till then will help regenerate the bulb.
