Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe have a 29 year old cactus. We had to cut it back in June 2020 from about 7 feet to about 5 feet to fit in the car when we moved. We also had to cut back large sections. Over the last year it appears to have gone into shock or dormancy. We have tons of light but it hasn’t grown at all. It also hasn’t died. Is there anything we can do to help it start growing again?

Likely, it has run out of room for the roots. A larger container with fresh cactus soil will likely get it started back up.
