Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have some bulbs, or what look like bulbs, that have grown on the top of my leek plant (on the leaves). When I opened it up, it seems that there are several small seeds. Are these safe and can they be re-planted to grow new leeks? Photos included. Also, since it’s not really leek/onion season in Central Texas, should I dry them out in some way and store them until fall? What are the best steps to do that? I opted to get an email, but I don’t mind if it’s also posted to the forum as well if it helps others. Thanks for your help!

Leeks become bitter when the plant bolts or goes to seed. This article will help:
