Brownish Specs Covering Flower and Buds of Hibiscus Plant

Very small brown flecks are all over the buds and flowers of my plant. It has been blooming very well, but now it has these brown things all over the buds and flowers. I’ve had it out in the screened porch and have been watering regularly. We have had a lot of rain and humidity in Missouri. What should I do? Could it be mites?

The problem could indeed be associated with pests. Further investigation of the plant is needed in order to properly identify the culprit prior to treatment.
