Brown ‘scarring’ On Stem Side Of Green Tomatoes

We added calcium to soil because of bottom rot which helped but now we have brown areas on top of green tomatoes around stem side of tomatoes. Some leaves on plant are wilting and turning brown on areas of plant. Water twice a week being mindful of rain in the area. Fertilize with Miracle Grow every 1-2 weeks. Take off effected fruit and clip off dead leaves.

Unless this is, specifically, for tomatoes, I would say that the nutrients will contain too much nitrogen. This will affect fruit formation. Be sure to use something with higher phosphorus and potassium during fruiting.

It sounds like overwatering has led to a bacterial infection. You may find wettable sulfur to be of use, here. This will kill off bacteria, as well as provide sulfur to aid in fruit quality. Regardless, I would use some fungicide to get rid of the infection.
