Bok Choy Plants

I have planted two bok choy plants from my local nursery. Since planting, yellow ‘flowers’ have appeared in the middle of each. Are these signs of a problem, and should they be removed?

Unfortunately, the flowers means the plant is bolting. There is not much you can do about it. This article will explain more:
