IS THERE A WAY TO PRUNE THE FONTS [?], TO CONTROL THE HEIGHT / TO KEEP IT CLOSER TO THE GROUND?

Unfortunately, there is little that you can do to control the height. If you were to cut off the top, it would likely kill the palm.
