Beans Not Producing Beans

I used a really good compost to plant my raised garden. I planted my bush beans two weeks apart. I had great leaves and stems with lots of flowers; however, there are no beans. None. What can I do?

It could be that your compost has too much nitrogen. Beans do not need a lot of nitrogen. Too much nitrogen fertilizer or manure will prevent pods from setting and focuses more on producing foliage growth. Heat can also be a factor, making pollination more difficult.
