Bad Mistake…Garden Lime Killed My Young Thuja Giant Green And Northern White Cedars

I made a terrible mistake…this spring I spread garden lime around my young 1 1/2 year old to 3 year old Giant Green Thujas and Northern White cedars when putting in some fertilizer sticks…this has killed half my trees…question…can I replant new tress in the same spot as the dead tree? I wasn’t sure if the soil would still be less acidic and therefore not good to put a another tree in the spot and kill the new tree as well. thanks…

You can make sure by doing a soil test. Then you will know if the soil needs any rectifying before planting new trees.
