Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI read about using wood ash in compost and as a pest deterrent in the garden in small quantities on the website. I was wondering about different kinds of ash from softer bush type plants and also yucca leaves. Can I use them in my compost and garden safely? Thank you for your help.

Yes, as long the these plant materials are healthy (no disease or pest issues), then it should be fine to use them in your compost.
