Are Grow Lights, Said To Be White Or Day Lights, Too Bright For Seedlings?

I grow several hundred flowers each year indoors by seed (on heat mats and under lights) for my outdoor gardens. I am interested in adding several additional grow lighting systems that are advertised on Amazon and elsewhere as White Light or Day Light, supposedly safer for eyesight than those that appear red and blue. They appear to be exceptionally bright, more so than regular colored grow lights, almost like sunlight. I am wondering if you think they might be too bright for seedlings. As long as you follow instructions for proper intensity (usually measured in umols) for the type of plant and its age regarding how much light intensity that it requires, then any horticultural grade light is appropriate.

Instructions for intensity can be found from the manufacturer of the light in question, but is best measured with a PAR meter.

It seems that you are referring to LED. I do not stand behind the old "Blurple" LEDs. They lack quite a bit of spectrum that plants need in order to be happy.

These new quantum LED panels are the top of lighting standards, at this time. They appear "Daylight" spectrum. They are far superior to older LED tech, when used properly.
