Apricot trees

What would cause the leaves to turn brown right after they first sprout in spring?

I would examine the leaves more closely to look for any other signs of disease.
Look for hole or streaks in the leaf structure.
Do the leaves curl first?
Do you see signs of disease on the branches and trunk?
